We had one of the most memorable Airbnb getaways at Jake’s place. The house has stunning mountain or treetop views from almost every room and the windows and room layout is nicely designed to highlight the views! We spent most of the time in the house rather than going out as it is just too cozy.
We had a wonderful 3 day stay at Jake’s place. It was absolute heaven and looked exactly like the pictures and description. So serene and peaceful! We really enjoyed the beautiful feel, decor and high end touches that Jake’s place provided. He also was able to accommodate our toddler by providing a portacot. We will definitely consider rebooking this place the next time we come up this way from Melbourne!
We had the most amazing time at Sonder House in Clunes. The place was exceptionally clean and looked spectacular. The views and surroundings were just as beautiful in person. We don’t get away often so when we do we like to pick somewhere that we truly love and this ticked all our boxes! Will absolutely recommend Sonder House to all our friends & family and hope to return again.There were snacks, food, tea & coffee - everything you need! Jake was so prompt with responding to any messages and in accomodating a late checkout for us.Thank you so much for such a fantastic stay - it was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary.
Had an amazing stay at Saunder House Retreat in Clunes from the 22nd to the 24th of May. The house was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly relaxing. The views were stunning, and the garden landscape was so well maintained — it really added to the peaceful atmosphere. The host was fantastic, always available and quick to answer any queries. Highly recommend this retreat for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.
We greatly enjoyed a very relaxing stay at Sonder House. The place was very clean, well appointed, with some very thoughtful touches including a welcome package.The views were outstanding from multiple rooms within the house, balconies and the deck. It was a fabulous place to unwind, read, and process some required emails (via an excellent internet connection) in a very restful environment.Clunes is a small and beautiful historical town, and it was nice to get away from the bustle of busier towns. The house is situated within a few minutes' walk of the township where there is a well-stocked IGA and excellent butcher as well as some great cafes.Everything was well beyond our expectations.
Honestly? Everything was absolutely perfect. I took my parents to Clunes for a well-deserved break, and they didn’t want to leave! The peaceful atmosphere, the beautifully maintained home and gardens, and so many birds… it was all so calming. Evenings spent watching the sunset by the outdoor fire pit among the trees, followed by cozy, chilly nights inside by the fireplace—pure bliss. Every corner had a comfy armchair and a view worth soaking in. Just stunning. We’ll definitely be back! LOVED Sonder House! See you again real soooonnnn!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The most sensational stay. An incredible property beautifully furnished and thoroughly thought out. From soft fluffy bathrobes to magnificent sheets, comfortable beds, glorious indoor and outdoor spaces. A very short, scenic walk into town makes the location perfect. Dinner around the open fire and breakfast in the sunshine.A well stocked goodie basket when we arrived and luxurious amenities in the bathrooms made staying in a wonderful option! Highly recommend- an excellent place to stay and cannot wait to return.
Sonder house is an absolutely beautiful country stay. The home was spotless, thoughtfully styled, and felt both luxurious and cozy. The hosts were thoughtful leaving dinner, snacks for movie night and roasting in the wood fire pit. The highlight was the wood fire pit under a sky full of stars (access to telescope and binoculars) well thought out — pure peace. It was the perfect place to slow down and truly unwind.Worth every penny. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Jake & Kate
We’re definitely coming back. Such a beautiful place, perfect for a peaceful family getaway away from the city. It’s calm and close to nature, yet the house is very modern, the perfect blend. It’s a space that feels peaceful and full of life.The room was spotless and comfortable, and I really loved the balcony. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.The best part of my stay was spending the evening in the garden with friends, lighting a small campfire and watching the stars.
